Origin Of Holidays - The History of Rosh Hashanah

Begins at sundown like all Jewish holy days. This holy week is to mark the anniversary of the creation of the world. This is also referred to as the Jewish New Year when the judgements are entered again in the Book of Life. At the start of this observance families and friends feast together and at the same time reflect and make wrongs right in the eyes of each other and to their God before the last day on Yom Kippur when their status is marked.
