Melanie is examining her figure and is convinced she needs a bra, but her mom thinks she is too young. LD assures her that she does in fact need a bra. She asks Melanie to hurry up as they have a match.
The girls win and will go to the championship games. Melanie and LD are annoyed that Jason fails to make the announcement of the event, but only mentions the boy's soccer match.
Yick and Arthur want to get taller and notice Snake. They decide if they want to be tall, they should see what Snake is eating, so they stalk him to find out the secret to his tallness.
Melanie and LD confront Jason and ask why he failed to mention the girl's swim team win. Jason says because no one cares about girls sports. LD bets the boys could never beat the girls because they can't even win at soccer. Jason says the boys can beat a bunch of girls and accepts the challenge to a swim match.
The boys are afraid of losing to the girls and refuse to swim until Jason comes up with a plan to get Snake to swim on their team. Snake was a terrible soccer player who was rejected from the team, so to get him to swim would be cheating. Jason said he would ask the coach to take Snake on the soccer team so it wouldn't be cheating. Then the boys agreed to the challenge. Snake is unhappy with the proposal after trying to play soccer realizing he is only being used for the swim event.
LD and Melanie go to the store to get a bra. Melanie is so happy she shows up to school wearing it. The boys make fun of her and accuse her of stuffing it. One boy even snaps her bra while in class causing her to be extremely embarasses.
Yick and Arthur discover Snake eating yogurt, but decide that wouldn't do the trick because Yick ate yogurt all the time. They decide to stalk him after school and find Snake eating a snack then go into the store after he leaves to get the same thing. After overdoing it, they get sick and later decide to stretch themselves in order to get tall.
As the swim event is about to take place, Melanie decides she does not want to swim and backs out because she doesn't want people to make fun of her. LD is disappointed especially as she learned that Jason stacked the team by having Snake participate.
The swimming competition is about to start. The boys wonder where Snake went because they did not want to do it without him for fear of losing to a bunch of girls. Jason goes out to look for Snake, but runs into Melanie and finds out she isn't swimming. He forgets about trying to find Snake as one of the girls' best swimmers is not in the event.
Melanie runs into Snake and they talk. She asks why Snake isn't swimming and he says it just didn't feel right. Snake asks her why she isn't swimming and tells him she doesn't want people to laugh, but Snake tells her to ignore the people laughing at her.
Melanie shows up for the event at the last minute and she is there with LD, Caitlin and Susie for the girls' team. The boys' team consists of Jason, Wheels and Wailee. Joey acts like a jerk and makes fun of "flat" Melanie and LD gets revenge by pulling him in the pool.
The event starts and the girls win.
