Justin's school has a prom, but he is reluctant to go in spite of pressure from Deb, Vic, and his mom. Justin wants to go with Brian who thinks that would be silly. Daphne and Justin reconcile their friendship and decide to go to the prom together. Brian panics over turning 30 (poor baby!) He debates about taking his life and going out in a sexual manner. Michael goes to Brian's apartment to see what's taking Brian so long in showing up at his going away party. Michael rushes to save Brian who is seriously pissed off at having to be 30 years old. Brian decides to show up at Justin's prom now that he has a brighter outlook on life. Michael and David prepare for their move to Portland, but Michael resented the fact that David has done everything so they have a fight. David lets Michael decide if he wants to go and gives him the plane ticket as he walks out the door. Ted faces the truth about Blake when he asks Blake to enter a rehab. Blake promises he would, but when Ted comes back to check on Blake he discovers Blake left without a word. Justin and Daphne attend their prom and have fun. Brian arrives at the prom to surprise Justin and they dance (how cute!!) This bothers Justin's classmates, especially Chris Hobbs who sneaks up on Justin as he walks Brian to his car. As soon as Brian closes the door, he sees Chris attack Justin with a baseball bat and runs to help Justin only to see that he is unconscious. On his way to the airport, Michael receives a call from Brian. (This is a real tear-jerker!)
